It’s now official: SAMANTHA’S Bridal announces Gilad as Brand Ambassador for ‘Samantha’s Bridal Wedding Fair’

Now in its 13th year, SAMANTHA’S Bridal, Kenya’s Premiere Bridal event, is happy to announce it has partnered with Kenya’s own ‘King Wa Mapenzi’, Musician Gilad Millo, with the aim of taking SAMANTHA’S vision to a new level. The Israeli-Kenyan pop sensation’s hit song ‘Sema Milele’, which has been dubbed ‘Kenya’s Wedding Song’, as Kenyan couples continue to march down the aisle to the popular tune, has been chosen as the theme song for this year’s Fair.

Gilad, together with SAMANTHA’S Bridal, Founder & CEO, Catherine Masitsa, have already been surprising brides throughout Nairobi as part of the pre-Fair campaign, which kicked off this week. The duo are promising more surprises in the run-up to the three day experience at the end of July and an eventful, action packed weekend full of love and music.

SAMANTHA’S Bridal Wedding Fair will officially open on Friday 29th July with a celebratory performance of ‘Sema Milele’ followed by a full live ‘Gilad & Super band’ concert on Saturday 30th July. In addition to experiencing everything Wedding’s in a hands-on, interactive atmosphere, ticket holders will also automatically enter a competition with this year’s first prize – Gilad singing ‘Sema Milele‘ at the winner’s wedding of choice!

“We are excited to have Gilad with us this year” says Catherine Masitsa, Founder & CEO of SAMANTHA’S Bridal adding, “SAMANTHA’S is a well established Brand representing an institution known for its high standards. In addition to his popular love songs Gilad is a family man, whose positive energy resonates well with Kenyans. We look forward to an amazing Bridal Fair”.

“When Catherine approached me with the idea I was flattered to be associated with a brand, which is so well respected in Kenya” says Gilad, who is very excited to be part of this year’s Bridal Fair. “Off course I look forward to singing ‘Sema Milele’ at the Fair and to putting on a full concert with Super band, but what I am also about spending time with young couples and families at the Fair and sharing in this experience together with the thousands of Kenyans, who will come through this iconic Wedding Fair during these 3 days” says Gilad.
