HOW TO TIE A BOW TIE
A self-tie bow tie demonstrates irresistible attention to detail.

1. Run tie through collar, pulling right side (b) longer. Now Pull (b) over (a).

2. Pull (b) up passing it under the point at which (a) and (b) cross.
3. Form (a) into an S shape, and turn it upward.
4. Bring (b) out passing it over S-shaped (a).
5. Bring (b) down until there is very little slack in the back, center (a) at the point of the first cross, keeping it in the shape of a long U.
6. Fold (b) starting just below the bottom edge of (a) and bring folded edge through gap in center of knot.
7. Pull (b) outwards, at the fold.
8. Adjust the length accordingly.
